A Scalable, Future-Proof Approach": Strengthening NHS Digital Safety

March 12, 2026

At MediShout we don’t just provide a service; we become an extension of your team.

Working with Joe Emmerson, Head of Clinical Engineering at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust has been an incredible experience, and we’re thrilled to share his feedback.

We’re grateful for the trust Joe and all of our partnerships put in us every day. Here’s to many more milestones together!

Check out Joe’s thoughts below

"Clinical Engineering departments are increasingly overwhelmed by manufacturer-specific middleware platforms. These systems often create duplicated effort, fragmented information, and divert valuable engineering time away from our core purpose: supporting clinical services and patient care.

To address this challenge, we have partnered with MediShout as a central operational platform.

Rather than requiring teams to actively monitor yet another dashboard, MediShout automatically generates a service request when intervention is required. The job is logged with the appropriate context and routed directly to the right team.

In many cases, engineers are responding to a structured job before clinical staff have even reported a problem.

This is a smart use of digital technology, delivering:

  • Reduced operational burden for NHS teams
  • Improved visibility of device performance
  • Clear traceability of actions and interventions
  • Stronger alignment with digital safety and governance
  • A scalable, future-proof approach that works alongside existing manufacturer platforms

  • MediShout is helping transform how Clinical Engineering teams interact with digital device data, turning multiple fragmented alerts into clear, actionable service requests.

I would encourage anyone interested in learning more about MediShout to get in touch and explore potential opportunities for collaboration.
